| Handcrafted stone duplicates the beauty and durability of natural stone, but substantially reduces cost and enhances flexibility during installation. Each piece is cast in a mold made from a hand-selected natural stone ( cast stone ). The ingredients of manufacture include Portland cement, lightweight aggregates, iron oxide color pigments and special additives, resulting in a concrete stone product with a compressive strength well over 3000 psi. Since it is light in weight (about 8-10 pounds per square foot or coverage), it does not require structural footings and can be installed over almost any structurally sound interior or exterior surface. Lakeside carries a large selection of the Cultured Stone products in stock. We also carry Window Trim Stones and Capstones which are great accents pieces. |
